Therapy can feel intense at first, or overwhelming at times, but that means we’re achieving long-term change. Throughout your journey we will check in regularly about your progress and personal successes to find a rhythm that works best for you.

Focusing on You

Standard therapeutic frequency is 1 or 2 hours weekly, with a minimum of 45 minutes a week.

There are biweekly and monthly options for those who are newer to therapy or cannot afford to commit to full frequency.

Marcus’ Psychotherapy practice focuses on:

Trauma, Self-Esteem, Stress, Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment to a Mental Health Diagnosis or Disability or Illness, Relationship Difficulties, Difficulties with Anger, Acute or Chronic Grief and Loss, Life Transitions, Sexuality and Gender Exploration, and Substance Use and Misuse.

Marcus engages in ongoing training under the following modalities:

Marcus has a background in Exercise Kinesiology, Holistic Wellness including Spirituality and Mindfulness Practices, Coaching, and Safer Sex Promotion. He approaches psychotherapy from a Humanistic, Anti-Oppressive, Trauma-Informed perspective. He is passionate about creating a safe space to support a diverse population of clients of all sexualities, ethnicities, and backgrounds. His ultimate goal is to help clients live their most fulfilling, value-actualized lives despite the stressors of everyday life.
